Reading

Open a book from Home, the Library or Search and tap Start reading. Gef opens it where you left off.

Tap a word to look it up in Lexi, the dictionary. Words you look up are kept in your Words list.

In Languages & editions on a book’s page you can choose up to six editions to read side by side, for example the original and a translation.

Listening

Books with a recording show the headphones. A book with several recordings asks which one you want and remembers your choice.

Your Library

Save a book to your Library or mark it finished from its page. Signed in with a Clickabl account, your Library and where you are in each book follow you to your other devices.

Download a book from its page to read or listen without a connection.

Discover

Fling shows you books one at a time: keep one, pass on another. Blind date with a book shows only its first lines. I’m feeling lucky opens a book at random.

Biscuits and quests

Biscuits are Gef’s own reward. You earn them by reading for your quest and with the daily check-in, and spend them inside Gef. They have no cash value.
